04:22 pm - Update and things
Hi small amount of members!

Just a note to say this community is not just for me to post things on. If you have a piece you'd like to archive some other place than KAFF, please do post it here. Just follow the way I've posted my own stuff.

I also wanted to mention that if anyone is interested in good Arthurian Literature that also takes place in dark ages Britain, I've recently finished reading a good series of books called The Pendragon's Banner Trilogy written by a very talented lady called Helen Hollick. They are outstandingly developed and have enough action and romance and intrigue to satisfy most fans of Arthuriana.

Any of y'all read these? Or do you have any other suggestions?

thanks for sticking around!

03:36 pm - OT: King Arthur muse community?
Hey, a question for y'all.

I notice that a lot of the "muse" communities ie. theatrical_muse, talking_muses are either full, or defunct.

I miss writing in my excaliburs_son journal. Would anyone be interested in a new King Arthur themed Muse comm? I'm considering starting one.

Cheers! Let me know.

03:33 pm - Drabbles
Drabbles
Disclaimer: They're still not mine, still all theirs, that still sucks.

*Gulp* My first attempt at drabbles. 100 words. I've written paragraphs longer than that! These were written for the September challenge at King Arthur Fanfiction, which was to write four drabble sets using these prompt word pairs:
1. Love/Hate
2. Pain/Joy
3. Sweet/Bitter
4. Water/Fire

So here goes … Oh, all four center on Tristan (surprise!), and the Sweet/Bitter entry is mild slash, with Tris/Gally.

11:43 am - Fic: Something to Hold on To, 2/2 (Tris/Gal)
Title: Something to Hold on To
Disclaimer: They weren’t among my birthday presents, damn it, so I reckon they’re still not mine (*sob!*). They still belong to Bruckheimer & Co. I'm guessing the money does, too, ’cause I ain’t gettin’ any.
Rating: PG-ish, for mild m/m implications
Pairing: Tristan/Galahad, but nothing explicit. Maybe next time. ;-)
Summary: The night before the Battle of Badon Hill, Tristan wrestles with his future and his past.
Notes: This is for the “Night before the battle” challenge at KAFF.
